Q: Q: How do you come up with these Outrageous Cocktail ideas? I love about ALL of them. Can I learn how to make these at home? |
A: A: Since we first opened BLU we've been commited to introducing new and obscure spirits and creating cocktails that could only truly be enjoyed only at Blu. Although most of Blu's Award-winning Outrageous Cocktails from 'Aloha Mr. Edison' to the 'CoCo Pink Chanel Martini' are designed and created by Master Mixologist Larry 'Smokey' Genta, many professional Blu Bartenders past and present have made contributions to our critically acclaimed beverage program.
Many of these drink recipes can be found at www.OutrageousCocktails.com, and sure you can mak them at home, but finding all the products may be tough. BLU has a full catering license and we can bring it all to you in either Lee or Collier County. Contact get411@BluSushi.com to learn how you can entertain with Blu's Outrageous Cocktails |

Q: Q: I’m hooked on the Pearl Sake. What makes it so cloudy?

Q: I’ve enjoyed it both hot and cold, but what really is sake? |
| A: Sake is a beverage made from four main ingredients: rice, water, yeast and koji. Koji is an enzyme that can be compared to brewer’s yeast that converts starch into sugar, and imparts distinct and wonderful flavors. Sak is an all-natural rice-based fermented alcoholic beverage, that dates back almost 7000 years and essentially is brewed like beer. |

Q: Q: I've had sushi all over the world. Hawaii, San Francisco, Nobu in New York, LA and sushi samba. I can tell you you have a real gem. Blu is as good...and I think overall BETTER than any of them. The chefs are top shelf, and the staff knows their stuff.Good job...keep up the good work. |
A: A: Thanks so much. We owe it to our Executive Sushi Chefs and 'BluSushi Artists' Kevin Mak and his brother Billy Mak. Kevin & Billy have been with Blu from conception and are working stockholders of BluSushi. Along with a staff of all-stars they consistently wow our guests and impress food critics and big city sushi snobs. They'll be the first to tell that their dedicated staff of professionals help create the magic that has rated us 'Four Stars for over Five Years' and why Gulfshore Life has awarded Blu the 'Best Sushi' award in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. |

Q: Q; Is Blu a chain? I've heard of one in Atlanta...and my friend says there is one in Minnesota. |
| A: A: We are BluSushi...a company and concept that was started here in Southwest Florida and we have three locations at this time. We are not affiliated with any other Blu restaurant concept, and we have a registered trademark for BluSushi. We have friends and fans around the globe that know that there is only one Blu...the Art of Sushi and Outrageous Cocktails' and we're close by and right here in your community.
